UK + IBIZA / AVAILABLE
These Terms & Conditions apply to DJ services provided by Clare White, trading as Claree P (“I”, “me” or “Claree P”).
By confirming a booking and paying the booking payment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
A booking is only confirmed once the agreed 50% booking payment has been received.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
If a booking is made within 14 days of the event, the full amount will be payable when the booking is confirmed.
Your booking is for the date, venue and agreed performance times stated in your booking confirmation or invoice.
Any additional services or equipment requested after the booking has been confirmed may incur an additional charge. This will always be agreed with you beforehand.
I completely understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel your booking, please let me know in writing as soon as possible.
Because your event date is reserved specifically for you, cancellation charges may apply. These are intended to reflect the likelihood of me being able to replace the booking and any costs or losses already incurred.
Unless the circumstances of the booking mean my actual loss is lower, the following will normally apply:
More than 30 days before your event: up to 50% of the total booking fee may be retained or become payable.
15 to 30 days before your event: up to 75% of the total booking fee may be retained or become payable.
14 days or less before your event: up to 100% of the total booking fee may be retained or become payable.
If I am able to secure an equivalent replacement booking for your date, this will be taken into account when calculating the cancellation charge, together with any costs I have already incurred.
Where possible, I will also try to accommodate a request to move your booking to another available date rather than cancel it completely. Any change of date is subject to availability and agreement.
In the very unlikely event that I am unable to perform due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond my reasonable control, I will let you know as soon as possible.
Where reasonably possible, I will help you find a suitable replacement DJ.
If I have to cancel and a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, all payments made directly to me for DJ services that I am unable to provide will be refunded.
I will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by you that I could not reasonably have anticipated when the booking was made.
We will agree the performance times before your event.
Please make sure I am provided with accurate information regarding the venue, access, setup requirements and event timings.
If your event runs late for reasons outside my control, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to extend the agreed finishing time.
If you would like me to continue playing beyond the agreed finish time, I may be able to do so depending on venue restrictions and my availability. Any additional fee will be agreed before the extended performance begins.
Where I am providing DJ equipment, the venue must provide reasonable access and sufficient time for me to safely load in, set up, sound check and pack down.
The client is responsible for making sure the venue permits a DJ and any agreed sound or lighting equipment.
Where required, please ensure that suitable electrical power is available and that the performance area is safe, dry and suitable for the equipment being used.
Please let me know in advance about stairs, restricted access, long loading distances, parking restrictions or anything else that could significantly affect setup.
Any parking, congestion, toll or venue access charges that have not already been included in the agreed price may be charged separately where these were not reasonably known when the booking was made. I will discuss these with you wherever possible before incurring them.
Claree P holds Public Liability Insurance and evidence of cover can be provided to the venue or event organiser on request.
I will ensure that any equipment I provide is suitable for the agreed event and maintained in good working order.
Where I am using equipment or a sound system supplied by the venue or another third party, I cannot accept responsibility for faults, failures or limitations relating to that equipment.
The client may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing my equipment if it is deliberately or negligently damaged by the client or one of their guests.
Before your event, we can discuss your music preferences, favourite tracks and any music you would prefer not to hear.
I am always happy to receive requests and will use these, together with my experience and the atmosphere on the night, to shape the music for your event.
I cannot guarantee that every requested track will be played. This may be because of time, availability, suitability for the event or the way the evening develops.
Requests made by guests during the event are welcome, but I retain discretion over what is played in order to keep the music appropriate for the event and the wider audience.
I want everyone to have a brilliant time, but I also need to be able to work safely.
I reserve the right to stop performing if I experience threatening, abusive, violent or unsafe behaviour, or if my equipment is deliberately interfered with or put at risk.
Where reasonably possible, I will first ask the client, venue or event organiser to resolve the situation.
If the situation cannot be made safe and I have to stop performing as a result, this will be treated as a service interruption caused by circumstances outside my reasonable control.
If the performance is outdoors, suitable protection from rain, excessive heat, wind and other weather conditions must be provided for me and my equipment.
I reserve the right not to set up or perform where weather conditions or the proposed setup could create a safety risk.
Neither you nor I will be responsible for a failure to meet our obligations where this is caused by circumstances genuinely beyond our reasonable control.
This might include severe weather, road closures, serious transport disruption, venue closure, government restrictions, power failure or other significant unforeseen events.
If something like this happens, we will work together to find a reasonable solution, which may include rescheduling the booking where possible.
I may occasionally take photographs or short video clips of my DJ setup or performance for use on my website or social media.
I will respect requests from clients who do not want their event photographed or filmed. Please let me know before the event if you would prefer me not to capture or use any content from your event.
I will not knowingly publish identifiable images of children without appropriate permission.
I will provide my DJ services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
I will not be responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the client, venue restrictions that I was not made aware of, third-party equipment failures or circumstances outside my reasonable control.
If you need to change the date, venue, timings or other significant details of your booking, please contact me as soon as possible.
I will always try to accommodate reasonable changes, but they will be subject to availability and may affect the agreed price where they materially change the services required, travel, equipment or performance time.
No additional charge will be made without being agreed with you first.
If you have any concerns about my services, please contact me as soon as possible so that I have the opportunity to resolve them.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Any personal information provided in connection with your booking will be used to manage your enquiry, booking and event and will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any mandatory legal rights you may have regarding where a dispute can be heard.
These Terms & Conditions will be made available before your booking is confirmed.
Payment of the booking payment confirms that you have read and accepted the Terms & Conditions applicable to your booking.
